About Motor
MOTOR Ai is a start-up from Berlin that is working on the future of autonomous driving. We are bringing the first ISO-compliant Level 4 autonomous cars certified in Germany to the roads. Since our founding in 2017, our goal has been to further develop our technology. We solve complex driving situations and adhere to autonomous driving certification standards. Our unique technology stack is a blend of various Artificial Intelligence techniques and conventional approaches.
Your responsibilities include but aren’t limited to
- Understand and develop software for embedded Drive-by-Wire controllers using a combination of Model-Based Engineering and C++ code
- Support in the development of application software for automotive ECUs
- Test the software on the ECU, on test benches and in the vehicle
- Analyze measurement data and troubleshooting
- Support with various daily tasks in the team
- Evaluate safety and redundancy according to industry standards such as ISO 26262 and SOTIF
What we’re looking for
- Completed studies in the field of computer science, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering
- Previous work in automotive product development and experience with in developing embedded microcontrollers
- Embedded C/C++ experience
- Experience in design, analysis and verification of motor and control technologies
- Experience with Simulation tools (Matlab/Simulink)
- Independent and systematic approach to solving novel problems
- Willingness to learn with a healthy drive to understand and solve complex system-level problems
- High level of communication and teamwork skills as the role requires interaction with cross functional teams.
Would be a plus:
- Experience in by-wire development and testing
- Familiarity with automotive safety standards (e.g. ISO 26262)
- Experience with creating and running system test plans
- Experience with sensor modalities used in robotics and automated driving applications (Camera/Vision, Radar, LiDAR, INS/IMU)
- Experience with reverse engineering CANbus communications and other vehicle networks
