Drupal Developer And Administrator

About the Role: The Drupal Developer and Admin for our Fabrics Sales and Marketing team will be focused on designing, developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining Drupal-based websites and applications. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance, security, and usability of Fabrics websites and hosting systems. The Drupal Developer/Admin is accountable for Drupal development, site architectures, and site and hosting administration of all Fabrics websites in partnership with functional and vendor teams.

This position offers multiple work arrangements: on-site at our facility in Elkton, Maryland, hybrid, or fully remote work allowedin most locations within the United States, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and customize Drupal-based websites, themes, modules, and functionalities with clean, maintainable, and efficient code using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies
• Implement and configure Drupal modules, plugins, API’s, and extensions to enhance website functionality
• Manage and administer Drupal installations, including site configuration, content architecture, user permissions, and hosting platforms for Fabrics websites
• Optimize website performance, scalability, and security by implementing best practices and Drupal updates
• Partner with cross-functional teams including marketing, designers, content creators, and vendors to meet business requirements and value objectives
• Create and maintain technical documentation for all websites and hosting platforms
• Communicates and collaborates directly and effectively with others to resolve challenges regardless of their role or difference of opinion

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Drupal development and administration with proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and/or Javascript
• Experience with version control, deployment workflows, and website hosting platforms
• Demonstrated understanding of Drupal site building, theming, module development, and configuration management
• Ability to effectively coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and other technical Associates to resolve challenges and meet business objectives
• Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities in a fast-paced environment using good judgement and logic
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate/translate technical concepts in a business framework that are easily understood by non-technical people
• Ability to travel 5%

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Pantheon
• Experience with multiple programming languages
