What you’ll do:
As the Developer (Senior/ Expert) (f/m/d) of Sustainability Engineering you will take over responsibility for the following tasks:
- Requirements discussions
- Design & implementation decisions
- Deploying, supporting & maintaining the solution
- Researching and prototyping alternative approaches and new technologies
What you bring:
- Passion for great products and working with people
- Experience with agile software development processes and implementation projects
- Profound understanding of large-scale software application architecture
- Innovative mindset
- Strong knowledge in Python
- Several years of experience in cloud-native development and cloud computing (CF / K8S)
- Deeper knowledge and implementation experience in Java and/or Golang and/or Node.js
- Willingness to own and drive complex technical tasks/projects/environments
- Knowledge in building eventing/messaging-based solutions and a general interest in distributed systems is a plus
- Technical background (Master’s degree in computer science or related field)
- Fluent in English
- At least 5+ years of working experience in the following areas:
- Software development and implementation in the enterprise context
- Software development and implementation in the enterprise context
Preferred skills:
- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform
- Experience with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud
- Personal motivation to address the climate emergency situation and corresponding sense of urgency
