Direct and supervise the daily activities of the site’s maintenance team, communicates with the Field Manager regarding the status of work and any potential issues, reporting anything that may be a potential liability, respond promptly to resident complaints, concerns and requests, reports to Field Manager any inoperable equipment on site, leaks, mold, injury, criminal activity, and ensures incident report is submitted immediately
Prioritize work assignments and evaluate job performance of maintenance associates, collaborate with coordinators and asset managers to schedule and ensure the timeliness and effective completion of all repair and perform, schedule, and supervise maintenance repairs throughout the site including clearance requests, PTPs, and JHAs
Work with vendors to coordinate repairs, ensure quality work is completed, assist Field Manager in obtaining proposals from vendors as needed, maintain an up-to-date supply inventory on all equipment, tools, and supplies for the site, schedule, monitor and conduct preventative maintenance on various equipment
Provide safety training and instruction for newly hired maintenance associates, participate in safety meetings and perform all work duties in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with company safety policies, provide input to the Field Manager for performance reviews for community maintenance associates, creates a productive and inclusive work environment where the team is excited, identifies strengths of each team member and actively generates and supports individual career development and acknowledges individual and team accomplishments
Ability to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws, ability to apply Tesla EHS policies and procedures to all maintenance operations and available for afterhours emergency calls and/or on call scheduled work rotations, including responding promptly to emergency calls with the ability to perform other duties as assigned

Ability to identify and troubleshoot commonproblems related to electrical and BESS management systems
3-year’s experience performing the dutiesassociated with a Maintenance Lead or related field supervision
Ability to interact effectively with management,co-workers, and crew, ability to work and lead a team with minimal supervision, ability to read, speak, write English language proficiently
Strong attention to detail, organizational,time-management, and problem-solving skills, computer skills including knowledge of computersystems and applications
Ability to work a flexible work schedule toinclude weekends, evenings, and holidays
