A vacancy for a Business Process Engineer for Cabin & Cargo Systems has arisen within Airbus in Bremen. You will join the Business Improvement & Process, Methods and Tools Department.

In an international environment, in collaboration with multicultural teams, you will be involved in providing solutions and supporting sustainable and innovative development of products across all engineering métiers and programmes. Also you will be responsible for preparing the future by using state-of-the-art methodologies, tools and disciplines.

Your objective is to deal with Cabin & Cargo System related Process, Methods and Tools subjects.

This is how you create impact – for the greater good of Cabin & Cargo Systems

  • You will support to shorten the systems development life cycle and provide continuous delivery with high software quality.

  • You will understand and prioritize the needs of different business owners and simplify complex technical improvements to ease the communication towards your stakeholders.

  • You will define the future methods, processes and application solutions in close collaboration with the engineering departments.

  • You will conceive, define, plan and validate the fully integrated Product Development Process (PDP) of the future Aircraft program and its derivatives

  • You will optimize and integrate processes and new ways of working in line with all External Bodies requirements (Standards, Regulations, Laws) for certification / approval purpose

This is what we’re looking for

  • You hold a degree in engineering, IT or similar.

  • Knowledge in electrical system integration is desirable.

  • You have proven experience in Project Management and already took the project lead in a previous position.

  • Experience in Airbus CAD and PLM Systems (like VPM, PASS, CATIA, Capital) is a plus

  • You have experience in the A irbus B usiness P rocesses (e.g. the FCO-Process, etc.) and know the Cabin & Cargo related ABP very well

  • Ideally you have already a good network inside the cabin & cargo community and related areas

  • Experience in Process modeling with ARIS and 3DX would be a plus

Your hard and soft skills:

  • Building relationships and considering the human factor as a main part in a change management is natural for you.

  • You are familiar with DevOps and agile working principles like SCRUM or SAFe

  • You have a passion for digital transformation and to improve processes, methods and tools.

  • You have a positive and open mindset.

  • Negotiation skills and Stakeholder Management knowledge would be a plus.

  • You are a good team player and customer first mentality is very important for you.

  • Curiosity, promote new ideas, new ways of working and a clear view on goals complete your profile.

Your language skills:

  • English at negotiation level

  • German at negotiation level would be a plus
