Position Summary

As part of the Data & Digital Transformation Office, The Business Integration and Transformation Manager will play a key role to drive fact-based decision making by leveraging data and reporting capability while optimizing collaborative business process.

At the core of the mission, the role will be responsible for Total Promotion Management (TPM) system. With the support of the TPM Data specialist (Direct report) the position will oversee the integrity of integrated customer planning systems and ensure that the data and analytics driving the system are optimized to support Corby’s ambition in this field.

The Business Integration and Transformation Manager will be responsible to assist in educating users on functionality of our customer planning systems and data.

This role will also actively contribute to Corby’s Collaborative Business Planning by evaluating and/or challenging systems associated processes.

The position is crucial in our Digital Transformation Journey to optimize/identify processes that will deliver decision-support resources and provide oversight of data to drive the analysis which ultimately leads to improved profitability and return on investment, high quality decision-making, sustainable value creation, and identification of business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Product Owner of TPM (Total Promotion Management) System:
    • Support key internal stakeholders by being TPM System expert and product owner.
    • Ensure day-to-day Data management and delivery - Ensuring completeness and accuracy of data (inputs and outputs).
    • Manage a direct report, the TPM Data specialist, who manage TPM day-to-day data.
    • Collaborate with the IT Team to define and prioritize software enhancements including conversion, training, and technology change management.
    • Together with the IT Business Partner, manage third party relationships including system vendors.
    • Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, IT) to articulate TPM roadmap and business questions to be answered, ensure translation and understanding between the different groups and holding the business accountable against key strategic goals.
    • Developing and implementing dashboard metrics and supporting targeted in-depth analysis as needed.
    • Establishing and maintaining system and operational processes to support the organization, inclusive of proper process documentation.
    • Proactively monitoring marketplace for emerging trends and technologies; developing/improving tools and resources.
    • Drive efficiency and provide focus on the highest value opportunities by serving as Chair of the TPM Adoption Committee and acting as principal in the improvement of the tool.
  • Design the future of Collaborative Business Planning at Corby by integrating new tools (Sales and Marketing predictive tools) and data capabilities within Decision making.
  • In close collaboration with the different stakeholders and the transformation champions across the organization, Drive Adoption of New Collaborative ways of working:
    • Map new/existing processes with the support of the different owners and champions.
    • Identify stop-and-go activities,
    • Align Roles and responsibilities (including approvers from each step of the process).
    • Identify training needs and create and/or support the creation/facilitation of it (managed with Group Headquarter or external vendors depending on the involvement of third parties in the process).
    • Measure process effectiveness by defining clear KPIs in each step of the process.
    • Identify process automation opportunities with IT.
    • Develop interactive learning programs when needed/possible.
    • Develop recommendations for improvement with the different teams involved.
    • Work in conjunction with the analytics lead to create dashboards and deliver best insights to the commercial and marketing teams.

Requirements

Education

  • Undergraduate degree in business/commerce

Experience

  • Minimum 5/7 Years Finance experience required ideally in sales finance or financial planning & analysis with business process knowledge related to Sales, Marketing, Demand Planning and trade promotion functions within a CPG environment.
  • Experience with TPM system is a mandatory, (eg. Exceedra).
  • Preferably in CPG business.
  • Previous experience with Power BI, Essbase/SmartView, Hyperion, would be an asset. Ability to effectively master IT systems in place a Corby Spirit and Wine.
  • Experience with leading large projects and/or a multi-person team, agile Certification is a plus.
