How do I find the best microbial strain for my application/research?
Within the EU project Bioindustry 4.0 innovative approaches for accessing, mobilizing, and integrating microbial data will be developed and established. BacDive, Mycobank and MIRRI-IS are the largest microbiological databases world-wide and join forces to create a new document-based database for assembling data in a new common format. The major aim is to provide access to information required for improving biotechnological processes and thereby to create novel opportunities for bioeconomy.

Your profile- Degree in bioinformatics, computer science, or a similar qualification
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages (preferably Python or JavaScript)
- Experience in web and database development, knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, PHP and NoSQL db systems
- Basic Linux knowledge is desirable
- Git is no foreign word to you
- Fluent in English / knowledge of German is beneficial
- You are communicative, able to work in a team and willing to learn
- You are interested to work in a dynamic, interdisciplinary team
