Tasks

Our focus is to maintain the airworthiness, safety and reliability of our aircraft systems and components in line with type certificate and regulatory requirements. We improve our product and processes with cost saving initiatives to help determine our service in a complex and demanding environment.

The position as Avionics & Electrical Systems engineer is mainly fleet oriented and includes the following prime tasks:

  • Provides Maintenance & Flight Operations with consultancy on technical issues
  • Assesses and defines maintenance requirements and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA), monitors their implementation and initiates corrective actions in case of deviation
  • Assesses and proposes technical upgrades and modifications in order to improve reliability and optimize unit maintenance cost
  • Analyses reliability trends and proposes adequate response actions
  • Conducts technical investigations in the frame of the Safety Management System (SMS)
  • Liaises with OEMs and vendors on technical issues

Requirements

  • Higher educational degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master) in Aerospace / ECE / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Knowledge in Avionics and Electrical Systems and EASA Continuing Airworthiness regulations
  • AMOS Maintenance Information Systems familiarity is a plus
  • Specific e-enablement, inflight connectivity architectures knowledge is a strong asset
  • Information security management is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills paired with solution- and aim-oriented thinking and acting
  • Flexible, self-organized, proactive and capable to work under time pressure
  • Fluency in English, German is a plus
