What can you expect?
- You prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to HGB and US-GAAP
- You are posting all daily financial business transactions in SAP S4/HANA
- You handle account reconciliations (e.g. in BlackLine)
- You prepare the monthly sales tax summary report and implement payment runs
- You bear the responsibility for intercompany reconciliation
- You support the accounting and give advice to the international subsidiaries
- You monitor and handle the receivables management and the dunning process
- You are the contact person for US parent company / tax consultant / auditor etc.
- You optimize the existing and design new accounting processes
- You are involved in other internal projects with a direct reporting line to the CFO
What should you bring along?
- You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance e.g. with further training as an international accountant (IHK) or comparable
- You have 7+ years of professional experience in similar positions in an enterprise / commercial environment
- You possess comprehensive knowledge of German HGB and US-GAAP as well as excellent knowledge of SAP (particularly FI module)
- You ideally have DATEV knowledge
- You have understanding of SOX compliance requirements
- You are confidently handling MS Office products, especially Excel
- You are fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
- You have a high level of communication skills, independence and diligence
- You enjoy working with numbers, and you work dedicated with a hands-on mentality
