YOUR ROLE
- Checking all invoices are compliant and approved before processing
- Bank payments and reconciliations
- Coding and uploading invoices to Datev
- Maintain the travel expense processes
- Ensure supplier invoices are compliant and maintain processes to ensure only compliant supplier invoices are accepted
- Assist with implementing a purchase order system
- Assist with maintaining the accruals and prepayments
- Take part in implementing a new ERP system in 2023
- Participation in audits
- Supporting in monthly, quarterly and yearly closings
- Ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Senior Financial Accountant
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- You have ambition and want to move things
- You hold an accounting bachelor or equivalent vocational training
- You bring 3 or more years of experience working in international accounting
- You have good knowlegde of German VAT
- You are approachable and enjoy working with other departments
- You have very good Excel skills and can learn adapt well to new ERP systems
- You are fluent in English and preferably you know German at a professional level
